The poopy side of being a Mama

I could write fourteen paragraphs about my daughter's bowel movements, but I will spare all of you. I did, however, want to share a photo of what happens when you become a Mama-all of life's normality goes out the window and you end up never blinking an eye and doing things like this:

 Yep, that's me, sniffing Ava's butt for poop right in the middle of the Zoo Giraffe exhibit. And yep, she had it, so I went to a semi private/public area and changed her diaper-much to the shock and dismay of my zoo companions. Ava LOVED it though, because there wasn't a break in the action and she got a little sunshine on her bottom!

Ah, the silliness of being a mommy.

p.s. I had NO idea my friend Wendy snapped this picture, but it makes me giggle every time I look at it. And Scott was bowing his back to hold Ava up-he doesn't have a belly. :)
