A day out with Mimi

So Ava has several little friends in our "circle", but there are two that she really considers her besties. Anyone who reads this or has talked to us in the last two years has heard about her bestie and boyfriend "Gabby". Well, Ava has now added a second bestie named Amelia, or as Ava calls her "Mimi". As with Gabby, she will hold Mimi's hand, give her hugs and tries to look after her, even though she is only 12 weeks younger than Ava. It is pretty cute.

Yesterday, Mimi and Ava went to the Childrens Museum together. It was a very cute car ride there and back with them playing peek a boo with each other and chatting the entire time.

The great thing about Ava's choices of besties is that I love both Gabby and Mimi's mommies, so it makes it nice. I know eventually she will befriend a kid with a dumb mommy, but for now, she is doing great. :)
