Case in point-We took a bus ride yesterday! Yes, three of us mommies took our toddlers and DROVE to a designated spot, where we hopped a city bus and took a bus ride. It was an hour long and we probably went a grand total of 2 or 3 miles, but it was a BLAST. The kids had so much fun experiencing something new.
I, as and adult, was again reminded that life from a toddler's perspective is so much brighter, clearer and fun.
The Bus
First minute on the bus. Fun, new and exciting!
Hanging with her bestie, Gabby (we had another friend with us, but I didn't get permission to post her photos yet, so I didn't)
The coolest "toy" of the trip? A set of firetruck underpants that we picked up for Gabby on a recent shopping trip. The kids were enthralled by them
Another example of adult vs toddler perspective: The bus was insanely hot and stuffy. As adults, we were all hot and fighting off the urge to be irritable. The kids looked at it as an opportunity to do a wardrobe change. :)
After the bus ride, we went to lunch, where Ava made sure to give lots of love and thank yous to our friends Sara and Gabriel for instigating the playdate.

Too nice for a Public Transportation Bus, looks more like one of those Airport Shuttles. Regardless, is a lot of fun for little ones and adds another new experience.
Thanks for posting Grandma! I love to see comments. Makes it more fun to write these
We wish we could have come with you. These are the best kind of adventures. I used to take Stephen on the bus all the time.
