Spring

Yesterday was a sunny day. A very sunny and clear day. In Seattle, it is almost a rule that once the sun comes out, you are not allowed to be inside your house.

Ava clearly subscribes to this as we spent yesterday as follows:

• Breakfast inside but in front of the french doors staring out and talking about going outside
• 10:30am-1:00pm , park playdate with friends and picnic outside
• 1:00pm to 1:30 brief period of errands in which the windows in the car had to be down
• 1:30pm to 3:00pm playing outside on the deck and down on our playset in the backyard. Hacking up easter eggs inside and throwing some off the deck (highlight of Ava's day for sure)
• 3:00pm to 4:00pm - outside sandbox play and playset play at neighbors house
• 4:00pm to 5:15pm- said neighbor transitioned to Ava's backyard for chalk and playset play
  
• 5:15pm-call to bath and crying child saying she "didn't get enough outside time"
