At 1:30am this morning, Ava yelled for me to come into her room. I was still up reading, so I was able to get to her before she came running out. "Mama, I need you to hold me close forever", she proclaims. Smiling, I let her know I am happy to oblige. She then drops that this includes sleeping with Mommy and Daddy in our room. She is too sweet, so of course she may sleep with us.
Around 8:00am, she wakes up and starts chatting with Daddy. She stands on the bed and says "I am growing bigger and bigger and bigger, but even when I get super big, I will always be Mommy's baby"! Seriously, folks, this happened.
